Umm, what? For stopping her, a senior Representative while letting a junior through without being searched? The guard was being a twit. Elected officials are supposed to be waved, not repeatedly pulled aside.
They have a freakin' protocol for a reason. It's the Capitol building. If she can't remember to wear her representative pin then she better be prepared to be searched. Hell, they should search everyone, everyday, without fail.

The entire situation was HER fault. Then she compounded the stupidity by complaining about it.

She's a freakin' loon. That she's the Green Party's Presidential candidate is exactly why people don't take the Green Party seriously.[/i]

It's not like any of the white folk were wearing their pins.

Anyhow... This or maybe this is why you should vote for Obama even if you think he's too centrist on other things.

Australia isn't that prominent and you only get 3+ choices by some definitions (unless you're somewhere like PL's spot where the third party is a serious force.)

With a preferential voting system you can give you vote to whoever you actually want to get elected. Then you give your second preference to whichever of the major party candidates you find the least crap. This allows people to vote for candidates who are unlikely to win without wasting their vote. It means that having two similar candidates doesn't just cripple both of their chances to get elected.

A first past the post system punishes groups with similar opinions for having more than one party. Every green vote reduces the number of democrat votes and gives the republicans a net advantage.

God damnit... I actually like this candidate somewhat, but I will not, in good consicence, place a facist (self-procliamed, even) in the white house...
Cuz apparently I gotta break this down for you dense motherfuckers- I'm trans feminine nonbinary. My pronouns are they/them.
